In Australia we had it printed for 2010. Great images from the 6th Harry Potter film. They must have released this before the film got delayed another 6 months, so I was lucky to purchase this.
30 or so days in a month with all seven days of the week. They're good pictures, but they're all essentially the same. I don't ever use calendars for keeping track of time.
and kind of a bad thing. It is nice, though, that it's almost like a pattern. Instead, each picture is of a single character on some vibrant colored background with an intense look on their face and a wand in their hand.
To be completely honest, I bought this calendar for the pictures. This calendar does NOT have the same pictures in it as the larger version (This one: Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince: 2009 Wall Calendar), which is a good thing. It isn't exactly outstanding, but it's definitely worth the price.
In short, the date keeping part is pretty average. Pictures, though.
Avia Can't wait til the 2010 edition is published. The 2009 Harry Potter mini wall calendar is probably better than nothing, but I miss pictures from the HBP. It is good to have a Harry Potter calendar in the spot on the wall where I'm used to seeing Harry and friends.
It measures 7" x 14" when fully opened and if you'd rather carry it around, it folds to a 7" x 7" booklet.I felt a little let down when I realized that the calendar has no scenes from the upcoming movie, "Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince." However, it has handsome, individual portraits of Harry, Ron, Hermione, Luna Lovegood, Ginny Weasley and Draco Malfoy. I have to say that I'm not sure how many of these portraits are new.
It'll certainly come in handy when it's time to tick off the days left before the new HP movie opens. But I did notice one that had appeared in the "Harry Potter and the Order of Phoenix Movie Poster Book." Overall, I think this mini wall calendar will make a nice gift for any Harry Potter fan.
I like the Harry Potter movies and I wanted a calendar for a small space. The calendar features Dumbledore, Tonks, Remus Lupin, Severus Snape and Bellatrix Lestrange.
This 2009 calendar is certainly more than adequate for me.
Also, I was happy to see that the publishers included adult characters too.
